Placing & Editing Property Listings

How do I get started? Return to Top
The first thing you must do is register. Click on 'Register' on the Home Page.

Complete and submit the registration form. You will be sent an email with instructions on how to activate your new account.

Upon successful verification, your account will be activated and you can place your first property listing.


How do I place a property listing? Return to Top
To place a property listing, log in, and click 'Add New Listing' (in the User Menu, on the left hand side of the page).

Complete the details and click 'Submit'.


How do I edit my property listing? Return to Top
To edit a property listing, log in, and click 'Edit My Listings' (in the User Menu, on the left hand side of the page).

Click on 'Modify Listing' (on the right hand side of the page) for the listing you wish to edit. When you have completed your editing, click 'Update'.


How do I add a photo? Return to Top
To add a photo to your property listing, log in, and click 'Edit My Listings' (in the User Menu, on the left hand side of the page).

Click on 'Modify Listing' (on the right hand side of the page) for the listing you wish to add a photo to.

Click 'Edit Images'. Once you have browsed for your photo, click 'Upload Picture'.


How do I reactivate or deactivate my property listing? Return to Top
To reactivate or deactivate your property listing, log in, and click 'Edit My Listings' (in the User Menu, on the left hand side of the page).

Click on 'Modify Listing' (on the right hand side of the page) for the listing you wish to reactivate or deactivate.

For the 'Published' drop down menu, choose 'yes' to reactivate or 'no' to deactivate your property. Click 'Update' to update your listing.


How do I remove my property listing from the site? Return to Top
To remove your property listing from the site, log in, and click 'Edit My Listings' (in the User Menu, on the left hand side of the page).

Click 'Delete Listing' (on the right hand side of the page) for the listing you wish to remove.


How do I place a featured listing? Return to Top
To place a featured listing, simply create a standard listing and then contact us at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it to express your desire to change your listing to a featured listing. We will then proceed with creating your featured listing.

A Featured Listing is charged at €19 per month.


How long does my ad stay listed? Return to Top
Listings will last as long as you like, you are able to reactivate or deactivate the listing at any time.


What are Featured Listings? Return to Top
Featured listings are an enhanced listing for your property. They are prominently located on the CollegeCribs.ie Home Page and Search Pages and are also located at the top of Search Results for specific universities, cities and towns. A featured listing puts your property in the spot light and provides a greater exposure and promotion of your listing; assuring an increased interest and attraction in your advert.
